What is an Ultrasound?

Ultrasound (or "sonography") is a procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to show what is inside your body.

An ultrasound examination is fast, with very little discomfort. No radiation or x-rays are necessary.

Ultrasound may be recommended to look for abdominal, flakes, or back pain; to diagnose pregnancy or assess fetal development; to diagnose diseases of the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries; and to visualize the structures of muscles, joints, tendons.

We perform all types of ultrasounds during regularly scheduled appointments.

Dr. Peter Choy

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Peter Choy holds certifications to work in the States of New York, New Jersey, Arizona and Florida.

He graduated in Medicine in Spain from the Complutense University of Madrid. He did transition internships at New York University and Follow American Aademic in Cardiology.
